Why we built Constellation

We watched people we love go through the worst weeks of their lives — and then do paperwork.

Close friends. Relatives. The same story every time: grief, and underneath it a scavenger hunt nobody asked for.

Between us we’ve spent over thirty-five years protecting banks, government agencies and global enterprises — the systems that are never allowed to lose track of anything.

Then we watched families we know try to settle an estate. Corporations spend millions making sure nothing is ever lost. Families are handed a shoebox.

The problem is inevitable. The consequences aren’t.

160+

online accounts, the average person

Banking, insurance, subscriptions, crypto, cloud storage, investments — scattered across dozens of platforms with no central record.

  • Accounts locked forever because no one knew they existed
  • Subscriptions charging a closed bank account for months
  • Family can’t find the will, insurance policy, or recovery codes
  • An executor spending months guessing what to close and how
  • Digital memories — photos, messages, videos — permanently lost
The two of us

Founded in New Jersey, late 2025

Still just the two of us. That’s deliberate for now — we’d rather answer your email ourselves than hand it to someone who has never read your plan.

Not just storage. Not just planning. A system.

  • You define activation — grace period, required confirmations, owner veto
  • AES-256-GCM vault with a unique key per document, master key in AWS KMS
  • Mission Control gives your executor a playbook, not a scavenger hunt
  • The Institution Directory names which bank to call and what to send
  • Linked Constellations let families coordinate without exposing private data

Security isn’t a feature here, it’s the foundation.
